A missing girl. A misplaced sense of belonging. A dream life in a beach-side suburb on the other side of the world. An improbable, disturbing relationship between two incongruous people. And time, for one of them, is running out.
More than anything else, Moojara is an exploration of whether it’s possible to swap the life you have for the life you want.

Book Release – Moojara

Strelitzia is pleased to announce the release of Moojara, the debut novel by Graham Wright.

Moojara is a tale of lives lived on the far side of the world. Maya is wild and unpredictable; apparently living a dream life by the ocean. Alex is running away from the mounting traumas and dissatisfaction of his life in the UK. Maya could be the one to help him find the new life he’s searching for. But then again, she might lead him into the kind of trouble that will make his own problems seem as nothing.

Moojara is dramatic and engaging, with a good dose of humour, and plenty of surprises as Alex attempts to make sense of the trail of enigma that follows in Maya’s wake.

Graham Wright is a freelance writer and author who has written numerous short stories. His writing is imaginative, thoughtful and dramatic; serious, but with a sense of humour too. Before becoming a writer he followed a varied career, from computer programming to business analysis to interior design and, most recently, gardening (hence the hat). Moojara is Graham’s debut published novel. He is currently living in the Vale of Glamorgan in South Wales, where he is busy working on his next novel.
